Who She is

Jenabelle Felmy is a 23-year-old artist who recently completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at Appalachian State University. She grew up in a military family where she was introduced to many different environments across the United States. Her work anything and everything she finds interesting. More often than not this includes nature and the human imagination. She finds herself drawn to media that delves into the darker side of humanity. She mainly creates ink drawings but is also exceptionally skilled in large-scale painting. She dabbles in other areas of art including jewelry making, wood-burning, digital illustration, and pottery. Her most memorable work is being used in the Workhouse Arts Center haunted trail in Lorton, Virginia. After flying there at the request of the chief director, she painted large murals and booths to celebrate Halloween cheer. Currently, she is building a portfolio for future career opportunities and exploring more ways she can create engaging pieces of art.
